Leaving life in the Dust
I've worked my first 90 hour week. And it is my opinion that this is a milestone. I have discovered that I am capable of such nonsense, of cowering low before the power of money and authority. After all, none of my actions will do the world any measurable good; though, no doubt, some individuals will find easy measure of the good that I've done them. I was not driven by inspiration from a notion of "betterment" or even satisfaction or pleasure. I worked, and am working, a ridiculous schedule because that is what I was told to do.
Rule: Chin up, young man. Do what you do well.
